Lingua Franca Membership Terms

1. Eligibility
• Must be 21 or older to join, be on the allocation list, or purchase wine.

2. Membership & Benefits
• Benefits begin: With your first shipment or equivalent purchase at sign-up.
• Shipment releases:
     o Spring (March/April)
     o Fall (October)
• Note: Wine selections may change based on availability.

3. Payments & Account Updates
• Charging: Primary credit card charged ~1 week before shipping (for shipped orders).
• Account Updates:
     o Notify us of any changes to payment, billing, shipping, or contact info before the club customization window closes.

4. Taxes
• Members are responsible for any state taxes on purchases and shipments.

5. Commitment & Cancellation
• Minimum Commitment: We ask in good faith the members receive at least two shipments requested before cancellation.
• Skipping Shipments:
      o One skipped shipment allowed per year
      o Individual shipments may be skipped by request, with continued access to benefits permitted for members who have received at least one, six bottle shipment within the current calendar year.
• Annual Requirement: At least one six-bottle shipment per year required to maintain benefits.

6. Shipping
• Default: UPS Ground.
• Option: FedEx upon request.
• Adult Signature: Required (21+).
• Returns:
     o Shipments returned after multiple delivery attempts.
     o Members may be asked to pay for returned/misdirected shipment charges.
• No Split Shipments for shared memberships.

7. Member Benefits
• Complimentary Tastings:
     o Up to 4 complimentary tastings (“The Lingua Franca Experience” or equivalent) per year.
     o Maximum 4 guests per visit.
     o Subject to public health guidelines.
• Event Perks:
     o Preferred rates for select winery events.
     o Event access may be limited by capacity.
• Exclusivity:
     o Benefits apply only to members.

8. Pick-Up Policy
• Pick-Up Window: Collect wines within 8 weeks of release or arrange alternatives.
• Uncollected Orders:
     o Shipped to address on file after 4-8 weeks with notice.
     o Notification sent 1 week prior to shipping.
